my lovely weekend
this weekend has been much needed. I am so happy that I came home to everything that I love. I ate dinner at Casa del Ray with the Godfreys. I hung out at Bean Town and learned that Z had planned on going to the Navy, learned a new card game named Squash, and had a heart to heart with Bryn. And talked to my brother the whole night through.

A living room full of people and books and laptops. Utter silence with breaks of laughter and stories here and there. Then back to concentration.
Back to routine. I love The Palace during midterms and finals. So many people come and go- its like a zoo. Except that we all have the common goal of reaching our utmost potential of productivity… AND ACEING OUR SHIZ.

Tuesdays & Thursdays
Tuesdays and Thursdays are Mo & Marbin days. They are my favorite days. I get out of class at 12 o’clock, the peak of sunshine, then have Marbles all to myself for 1 hour (which is not long enough for me). I make him lunch and then we cuddle, talk, catch up. Occasionally we go out and eat on Thursdays- holding hands which warms me inside and out.

A Little Victory
This morning I got a phone call from MQ at 8:30 am asking me to go get breakfast with him. It was the most endearing offer ever. But I said no and choose my priorites correctly (thank you HS). I opted to say and have the little morning girl talk of recapping the night. It was fun and sweet. I see them less and I do MQ. So all is well. I am so proud.

New Year
I am so greatful for the wonderful family and friends that I have in my life. There has been many up and downs, but something that I have learned is that to really love the life you live, you sit back at those moments and really remember what made you smile. Forget what made you cross, and you’ll have the happy memories forever. 2009 was great to me. Thank you thank you thank you!
